Solingen 1932 - Kurt Schmidt starts the steel company Kurt Schmidt KG in the "city of blades" Solingen, Germany. In 1967, the Jaguar brand was created and barber scissors were introduced by the three sons Frank, Hardy and Kurt Schmidt Jr.

Jaguar is defined by the highest quality and numerous patents. Today, Jaguar is one of the world's leading scissor companies with exports in more than 80 countries.

High-tech and innovative machines are used in our factory, but it is thanks to our professional craftsmen that we create our scissors, a work that has been going on for generations. In our daily work, up to 2000 scissors are produced in 120 steps and then quality assured before they reach your hands.

Jaguar's range has expanded over the years and today we can also offer brushes, combs and electrical products.
